In less than 48hrs I will be landing at Lisbon airport, Portugal. This is yet again another trip to RISE with the Braveheart Women. In December, 2014 this year, this is what I wrote:
Last November, 2014 I attended a gathering of women from Africa, USA, Australia, Europe and the Caribbean in beautiful Los Angeles, California. We all had one vision in common, i.e. to live a life of purpose, fully embracing our womanhood, blossoming in our SHE essence, creating and collaborating in harmony with other women and thus bringing healing to ourselves and the earth. It was such an eye opening four day event and I, being the only representative from Africa was touched by the possibility of bringing harmony to Africa. A community where women could start loving one another, looking into each other’s eyes and declaring this, working together in collaboration, rather than competition and not fighting each other for a change.
As I begin another journey to connect with like-minded women who resonate with the fact that women are created to: Be Blossoming in their true essence, Create prosperity courageously, while Collaborating harmoniously; I thank my creator for placing me here on purpose. Thus, I would like to be true to that purpose, embody and emanate it courageously so that I can be the instrument that brings healing and empowerment to my fellow women. I’m embarking on this journey so that I may be fully equipped for the work that lies ahead.
So, I say NAZARE…here I come. The picture above shows the small coastal fishing town called Nazare, outside Lisbon in Portugal. This is the venue of our gathering for the next two weeks. Women are coming from as far as New Zealand, Canada; USA and of course Africa.
I’m going to be updating this blog with a blow by blow account of the events that will be unfolding at this potent gathering.
